Good to know, thanks guys! I'm taking my car to PepBoys today so I guess I'll just get one there...

Her's the thing, I don't buy much at pet shops.

water bowls - dollar store
Lights - wal mart

Etc...

If you look, the same products or better products are sold for other uses.

Why pay $30 for a light bulb just because it says "reptile" on the box, when the same bulb labeled "yard light" costs $5 at wal mart.

Because I'm a n00b and don't know any better

But you're right when it comes to equipment. I'm going to buy what I can at WalMart and cheap stores. But decorations and things that go inside the cage I'm willing to spend the money because I want my viv to look nice and natural. But I am also lucky to have fish-crazy parents... They always have extra wood and stuff around that I always manage to mooch off. And my mom HATES anything that doesn't look natural.

My mom hated the idea of me getting a snake and told me that the snake is never allowed in her house. And 2 weeks later I'm here with the snake, and she's already planning out an awesome background for the snake's cage... Too bad I haven't grown the balls to tell her I'm getting another snake in 3 days. She would probably make me another background once she was done telling me that I'm a stupid

You can get fake plant material at Walmart or craft stores. Even bigger selection and still less money
