Whilst this is cruel by all the standards of animal care that we aspire to in the west we ?MUST remember that the people that do this have little or no other choice when it comes to putting food in their families bellies.

When you are living in what we consider to be a hovel and starving to death the list of things that you "arent prepared to do" tends to shrink over time.

I am in no way condoning mutilation of an animal but put yourself in their shoes (or bare feet)

most folk who know me on here,know i agree with rob on this subject

although i would NEVER condone sewing a cobra's mouth shut or ripping its fangs out,which is common practise in their native countrys

i DO understand the need for these familys to put food in their childrens bellys

lets face it at the end of the day,wouldn't all of us go to extreme measures if our familys were starving ?

although the clip was removed before i saw it,i have seen clips like it many times

sadly its just poor folk in a poor country,trying to put food on the table
