We've encountered other species of snakes with two tone tongues but we are unsure whether this is a common trait on an amazon. Normally we have seen the color variation on the tip of the tongue but never in the middle like this. The color is more orange than it shows on the pic. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
ps. Sorry it is hard to get a clear shot of the tongue! LOL
