i bought craig about 6 months ago and i just figured it was a gray banded king snake but my buddy says it could be a cali king due to the narrow orange stripes. can anybody help me out?
A "normal" California kingsnake would have black/brownish and yellow/whitish bands, not gray or orange/red. Mountain kingsnakes may have the orange bands, but I haven't seen one with gray. Doesn't mean it isn't possible though! I don't know enough about kingsnake variations to say for sure.
