Alduin World Eater
I was at a pet store a few days ago and I saw this beautiful red bearded dragon. It was on Black Friday so everything in the store was half off and I have been wanting a beardie for a while so I finally got one.
This is him his name is Alduin.

Pretty dragon! I noticed you didnt have any substrate in the cage so just fyi it will be a lot easier to clean with paper towels

Re: Alduin World Eater
This was taken before we put the reptile carpet in. So he has that now.
would paper towels be better than that?

Re: Alduin World Eater
I love the name! I plan on naming a monitor lizard that in the future.

It's personal preference. I recommend it because i have seen them get their nails caught on it and it is 100x more sanitary. Here is a list of substrates that I know people that use and love or I have used it.
Paper towel
Unprinted newspaper (can be picked up at moving store for a few bucks for a big box)
Laminate cut to fit
Pavers cut to fit
I will post more as I think of them.

Re: Alduin World Eater
Okay thank you. does anyone know what kind he is? He is a little more red in person than in the pictures.
That nice red is why I got him out of all the ones they had, all seemed equally responsive, active and healthy so it was what made the final decision.

Re: Alduin World Eater
For the record, it's generally not advised to handle a reptile when you first get it. It's best to let them settle in for a week or so before you do that and add more stress. Though I know it can be hard to resist.
Very cute beardie though! Slate/tile is popular and looks very nice.

(The alfalfa pellets in the dish are provided as a "digging box," as beardies are known to dig sometimes.)

Re: Alduin World Eater
I agree with maggot. You can not tell morphs without knowing the parents. There are only a couple that you can be positive about like hypo (must have 20 clear nails). It is most likely just a red x normal

Not my enclosure. Just one I found online. I don't own a beardie.

That was supposed to be a different thought. I agreed with you on not handling them.
