JCP today at the store

So my trainer/friend was having a bad day and loves reptiles but will not go into a store with fear of walking out with another one. so i took her there today and told her to leave her purse in the car.

The guy has about 6 JCP in the tank. all about 1/4-1/2 inch in diamiter and about 12 inches long. i asked to hold one and the guy told me i was going to get bit. i knew that already. he pulled on out and handed it to me. needless to say i got bit about 4 times till the snake bit itself.

I loved how when holding it she kept her mouth open and alert the whole time. i may have to go back and pick one up. he is asking $100 each.

Too bad you don't live closer. You could get bit here almost anytime.
We had one of our baby jcps out today and only got bit 4 times. Thats not bad !!

$100 seems low for a JCP, make sure you know what you're getting. Regardless, I love the little bitey things.

its colors were black and a goldish color now. he said as it ages it will turn yellow. that would be a jungle correct? around 5-7 foot fully grown.

well the bad news starts......

i aquired another 20 long tank yesterday for free. I orignally picked it up for my friend and idk if she is going to take it. if not i may have to get myself a xmas pres.

To be 100% certain on locality with Carpets you need to know the lineage of the parents.

We will need a picture to give you our best guesses...

If it's colours are black and gold now... I doubt it would turn yellow. JCPs tend to fade and muddy as they get older (there are exceptions though).
