I decided to do a close-up 1080P video of my ball python eating. I thought it was a pretty cool video because it is close up and in the action, as opposed to filming it through glass or an above tank view. Also, I find it funny how he slurps down the mouse tail right in front of the camera. What's the fastest your BP has downed a meal?

~Why are you feeding prey that is SOOOOOO small??

That BP could easily take rats that are much larger than the tiddly little mouse that was in the video.

That snake would probably have taken like 4 more of those mice if offered.

Try giving him a small or medium rat, see if he takes it. Then you won't have to feed him as often.

Yeah I know I know. Should have known to note that isn't the only food he gets. Basicallly, my friend breeds mice so I get them for free. I feed him three every "sitting." That would be a ridiculously long video had I included all that. Expect a little more out of me guys.

But yeah I've done rats and had no problem, I may start breeding those suckers because the drive out to the exotic shop and price of rats is not worth the money.
