Really wish my camera would capture the neon blue and dark green more. This lizard is bright in person

Re: varanus yuwonoi
For about 3 months I guess. Probably the best looking monitor-color wise that I have seen. Feet and tail glow in light blue and the neck is a dark green. It puts tree monitors to shame, I just don't have a good enough camera to catch it all.

Re: varanus yuwonoi
Call me jealous.
May I make a suggestion? Turn off the flash and use bright ambient light. It helps with bringing out color.

you probably never will mate.
if you can take pictures in direct sunlight do so theyll be the best ones.
varanid colours are extra-ordinarily hard to capture on camera alwas end up washed out.

Re: varanus yuwonoi
I would love to see the colors on a full grown adult... to bad the zoo's near me all have snakes no monitors, well now that I think of it the Knoxville zoo has some beaded lizards but that is the extent of it.
