power outage!!

i am currently experiencing a power outage. will my carpet be ok tonight without heat. weather isnt supposed to go below 70 tonight

Yes it should be fine for a night last winter here in Iowa I lost power for 14 hours and they were fine just cover the enclosure with a blanket to conceal the heat in

I would try to keep it above 70. See if you can get a heat pad, or if you must, stick the snack in a pillowcase with the end tied in knot and let it sleep with you under the covers *lol* but seriously, it need to be kept warm. I hope you're able to find something. They make those 8 hour heating pads to warm your hands with. Don't let the snake lie directly on it, as it can burn, but maybe wrapped in a towel under the glass or just under the tank/viv. Good luck!

I usually stick a warm water bottle in the tank on one side so if the snake gets cold they can go lay on it

i give my carpets a night time drop,from high 60F to low 70F,with no issues mate

drape blankets over your tanks,it will help keep the exsisting heat in the tank

you can also fill hot water bottles,if things get too bad
