What kind of snake is this?
HI all -

Found this little guy in the back yard of my new house. Anyone know what kind of snake it is and if its dangerous?

Common Thamnophis Sirtalis Sirtalis.... a garter snake.

Perfectly harmless.

Yep. Garter snake.

Only dangerous to small amphibians, lizards, fish & invertebrates. Completely harmless to humans.
