i have a quick question would anyone happen to know why there is like a web cotton type stuff growing on the one side of my tank(on the bottom in the bedding)? I have corn cob in my tank as bedding.
That sounds like mold to me...and I've heard that corn cob bedding is often prone to developing mold in humid conditions...you might want to change to peat moss or something else...
I think that it is mold aswell, throw it out and try somthing else..I am having good luck so far with that coconut stuff

That way, when you criticize them you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
Repti-bark isn't very absorbent...you could try it out and see, I imagine it's more mold-resistant than the corn cob...I'd suggest peat moss, because (as I understand it) it's more acidic than most substrates and the acidity tends to ward off mold...also, it holds humidity very well.
