Wanted to share
New here.
I just ran across this photo of my Burm, Boo Boo. He passed away a few years ago . I just wish I could fix the glare spot in the photo.

Re: Wanted to share
That's a beautiful Burm. How old was he when he passed away?

Re: Wanted to share
Thanks, We had him for 11 years, there is some dispute on how old he really was when we got him, store said he was less than a year old, personally I think he was closer to 2 or more, and that the store just fed him on a reduced timeframe to keep him small.
He was a big baby, so mellow, when my daughter was born we heard "The snake's gonna eat the baby!!" all the time. As she got older we would sit with her and the snake, letting them get used to each other. She was heartbroken when he died, (RI/bad rabbit, not sure), it's been almost 3 1/2 years, she still can't look at an albino burm without tearing up(she's 13 now). I'm trying to find more photos of him to share.

Re: Wanted to share
awe... that sucks that she misses him so much. People are stupid, just ignore them. As long as you're being responsible and not keeping it in a giant fish tank with no top, then you're doing your due diligence.
I hope you can find more pictures.

Re: Wanted to share
Well, the main grandma that was having the fit just gave her Easter $$ so she could buy a snake, knowing that her Christmas $ went for a ghost corn and a brazilian red & white tarantula. And that grandma HATES spiders of any kind. She picked out a nice coastal carpet jaguar sibling(think I got the name out of order). Not as big as a Burm, but she was not sure about having another albino burm around yet.

Re: Wanted to share
I think you got it in order. Unfortunately you're gonna have to find a local breeder of Burms before getting another one since they can no longer be legally transported across state lines Something to look into if you don't (or can't) get another albino is Hypos, equally stunning, but not an albino.
