Platy, my bolivian boa..better pics!

Got some much better pics of her after her last shed. You can't see her iridescence or pinkness to her very much...but after this shed she's very clean. Hardly any pink! I'm sad to see it go. But she still looks nice!

Re: Platy, my bolivian boa..better pics!

btw i say pink not because of her shed, but because this snake is very just that...pink! It's part of the bolivian boa thing. I love her face stripes and her tail! You can actually kind of see the colors now that i look through the pics again. Anyway, she's a healthy eater, a sweet snake, but a slow grower. You guys should all get one : )

Wow, she's super clean and (if I dare say a snake can look this way) feminine looking. That is one of the prettiest boas I've seen in a while.

Re: Platy, my bolivian boa..better pics!

she IS silky feeling. Very, very soft...that's something i've noticed with my dumeril's boas too. I wish i had some good pics of how pink and amythist she used to be...but this new shed really made her just...clean! I have an old shed of hers that i kept where you can see the face stripes very clearly. I love her little face paint!

She was the lightest and pinkest the seller had. She was a total impulse buy as we were going out of the show. couldnt' resist! hehe

Platy is short for platinum, btw, in case some didn't know. I liked Amy...for amythist, or ghost, but she's actually the hubby's snake so he got to name her lol
