Okay. I have a friend who visits SA a lot. She takes pics of the reptiles for me....she loves animals but has little interest in monitors and snakes.

Awesome. That would be so amazing to live in a place where a wild monitor lives on your house of its own volition! Totally envious of people like your friend and Crocdoc who get to go see these guys in the wild when they have some free time.

Exactly!! My friend works with rhinos (mostly) and the poaching is disgusting.
