bannanas okay?
i have some older bananas and was wondering if they could be fed to my beardie.. there still yellow, but mushy... (not rotten at all) i ate one... it was..... different, i was just wondering, couldnt find anything on the internet.. that i trust.

You can but you should feed them the peel too. be sure to wash the whole banana to be sure any pesticides are off the outside.
Also fruit should only be a treat for beardies. they are high in sugar and can cause problems if eaten too often. A treat here and there though is okay.

Be careful with bananas. They are too high in potassium for most animals.

although they are high in potassium, a chunk of banana her or there for a beardie is fine. If you are supplementing with calcium (which you should be) a little bit of banana (not a whole banana) will be fine.
