Tempting, very tempting

I had someone offer me a Sulcata tortoise this morning. Ive never kept any kind of turtle/tortoise before though and after researching it further I decided against it. Mostly because I know this animal will live much longer than I will and the thought of trying to move a 90 pound tortoise when Im 70 is a little intimidating. Although, the more I think about it, the more tempting it gets...

Im told they are machines in a lot of ways, ya. I have a friend who's mum has one, and apparently it took down her mulberry tree. As in, brought it to the ground and ate every leaf on it! Now thats a tortoise!

I really would if I had any kind of decent backyard, but it just wouldnt be fair to the tortoise. Of course I still want him, but I shouldnt, but I want him, but I shouldnt, but...

And this is what is going to go through your head everytime a 'cool' 'new' or 'exciting' animal is possible for you to own.
