Re: Savannah feeding

Im not sure is you could... but why do you want to? Surely its better for their health to have a more "natural" diet.

Re: Savannah feeding

Lean raw beef and a nice hot basking spot.. Not the most ideal, but it would be food.

I know of a guy in Alaska who feeds his garter snakes Caribou meat, and his snakes do great. It may not be the best, but it's not as bad as pizza.

Re: Savannah feeding

Boiled Lean ground turkey is much healthier with vitamins added. Beef has high fat content and the bowel movements are explosive. *EW*

Been there... One time he got me right down the front of my clothes. It was all I could do not to vomit, I was about 800 feet from the house too, so I had to wear it for a few minutes.

I do serve Chomper strips of venison a couple times a year during deer season, I can get cuts that are so red and have no marbling.

He seems to really like it, and a couple times a year seems harmless enough.

Oh You Pooor pooor man! I cringe at the thought. We like to bring Hendrix up stairs with us in the evenings, but I learned real quick to make sure it was after his B.M.

The first time he let loose without me knowing, my husband noticed because of the Lovely perfumy aroma and said, "WTF IS THAT SMELL?" It was all down hill after that! LOL
