Shedding is contagious!!!!
Holy crap!!
Shedding has become a contagious condition at my house!! On the 17th, Khuno refused his meal and then shed on the 18th. Then 2 days later, Ananta left me a beautiful one piece shed.
Then last night, I went to feed helios (actually sent hubby to do it) and he yelled for me to come see, helios "looked wierd", I went to see and he is in blue (which does look wierd on an Amel). He showed no interest in eating, so I thought "OK, we'll feed this mouse to the new male amel" who's feeding day would have been today. HE"S IN BLUE TOO!!!
So out of 5 snakes, 2 just shed and 2 are in blue!! CRAZY!!

Re: Shedding is contagious!!!!
Since I tend to get my snakes in groups with birthdays very close together, I have mass shedding spells here rather often.

Re: Shedding is contagious!!!!
A few weeks ago, 3 of my snakes in the same cage were all blue eyed, and shed on the same day... 2 days later my other 2 shed!
That was just shocking.

Re: Shedding is contagious!!!!
My adult bp is in blue and will shed soon. My baby bp has been with me for a little over 4 weeks. I should be expecting him to shed soon, right? Except he's an albino bp and I've heard how hard it is to tell when an albino is going to shed because the eyes don't get blue. I'm trying to take notice if his skin gets any duller I guess...

Re: Shedding is contagious!!!!
well my blizzard corn does get the foggy eyes, not blue like the others, but it is noticable if your looking for it. that's it, the only clue that he's going to shed.

Re: Shedding is contagious!!!!
My Brazilian Rainbow Boa shed 2 days ago, My Grey Banded King shed this morning, i'm expecting my Ball Python to go "blue" within the week, as he is currently enjoying a soak at the moment, and All my adult Sand Boas should soon follow suit, so the shedding train has definitely made a stop at my house
