Cut/abrasion help?

Today when I was spot cleaning I noticed a cut/abrasion on my corn snake. I dunno if it's just a crappy shed or something worse. So I figured I'd ask you guys. I've been researching scale rot and other things and I'm fairly positive it's not that. Could it just be a cut from something in her enclosure? Her temps and everything else is fine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

the skin under the scales is not even broken, nothing to worry about, except finding what your snake rubbed up against.

It doesn't look like a cut or an abrasion. It looks like he rubbed against something and it lifted a bit of old skin or it was some retained skin from a shed.

Re: Cut/abrasion help?

Alright I wasn't too concerned just figured I would make sure. To be honest it looks a little worse IRL but I'll just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. I think there's two possible options that she could have rubbed up against.

The vents which you can see in this picture.

Or the bulb guard I made out of wire mesh which looks like the one in this guide
How to make a bulb guard

I'm thinking more towards the vents. Any thoughts?

the vents would be my guess, you would be surprised how sharp those edges can be.
