Feeding Video/Questions.
I have 6 snakes left to feed tomorrow I thought it would be a good Idea to make a video of the whole process. I was also wondering what is every ones feeding routine? How many animals do you feed? What do you feed and sizes of the feeder, do you use tubs? At my apartment I only have my favorite specimens here, my others are back home with my familly who are more than able to provide proper care. Here is what I have here;
0.1 BCC Guyana
1.2 Sonoran Gopher
0.1 Jungle Jag Carpet
0.1 Jungle x Diamond Carpet
8.13 Yellow Lab Cichlids
5.6 Lethrinops
1.0 Mutt
Savanna Monitor
More than enough to keep me busy while I earn my Diploma In Sales Management.

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
I only have Kirana right now, but she takes 6-7 medium, or 5 large rats a week, normally in about 10 minutes flat.
Always feed in cage.

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
Something is off with her genetics lol, they should only get to 7 feet as mature adults, 4-5 feet in the first year is rare, and for some reason shes almost 8 feet long before her first year, shes also wider then most females are then they ovulate, yet she has the same body shape as a normal healthy adult. It's really weird lol, she also wants to eat more then I feed her but I like my snakes "trim"

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
I have one little hoggie and I feed her with a toad scented large mouse pink once a week OR when I noticed that she has pooed. I was gonna feed her today but she has gone into deep hiding and for me to fish around in her cage a good deal will, I am afraid, stress her where she won't eat. Gonna wait for her to show herself and then introduce food again. She eats in a small plastic hollow hide, won't eat outside her tank anymore. Dunno why.
Also I enjoy watching videos of eating as long as they aren't 10+ min long.

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
I feed six snakes. My carpet gets a medium rat a week, 2 medium mice for the bcc and Retic a week. 3 pinkies each for the corn snake and kingsnake. and my rainbow gets tube fed. They all have eaten successfully since i got them in their tanks except the rainbow boa. she just wont eat. costs 20 bucks a week on average buying mostly small bulk at expos.

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
Wait hold up, is the retic a SD? because otherwise, a baby just out of the egg can eat a fuzzy rat.
Why you tube feeding the rainbow?

Re: Feeding Video/Questions.
Stephan im unsure of the genetics of the snake, but she's not ready for the rat imo. The two mice give her a good bulge and she seems content. I'm working on being able to post pics.
Jay-I'll post pics when i can.
