Finally, a picture of my plumbeous water snake!
I took Preshuz out for a quick handling session this afternoon! This is the only clear picture I managed to get, just try to ignore my hair looking like a bird's nest because I think this is a good clear shot of his head, the rest were blurry! (:

Re: Finally, a picture of my plumbeous water snake!
Ahh, thanks girls! He's a real sweetheart, and I think his face shape is pretty cool too cos his eyes are more to the top of his head than at the sides! I guess it's so he can stay underwater while looking out over the surface :3 If you look closely you'll also notice his nostrils are at the top of his snout rather than in the front XD He's very flattered by your compliments!

Sweet picture! His head shape just like my Anaconda head. Perfect for laying in the water to do some ambush hunting. He looks like a curious little guy.

Water snake! Fun fun! They have great expressions always plastered on their faces. Like others have said I love that his eyes sit atop his head rather than on the side. He is also a beautiful shiny brown/black <3
Did you buy him or did you capture him wild?

Re: Finally, a picture of my plumbeous water snake!
Thanks everyone! Yes, he is a very shiny snake for some reason and in sunlight his scales do have some rainbow iridescence like the sunbeam snake, which are found around the same parts. It's nowhere near that bright but it's definitely noticeable! I don't know how to photograph them but I'll try to get a picture if he decides to cooperate

He does have a cute expression doesn't he! I bought him from a breeder, but I wasn't told if he was bred in captivity or captured! Mostly likely bred (:

You are lucky to have a unique looking snake Does he have a smile plastered on him? It looks like he has a jolly expression all the same from the image you showed. Bet he has an interesting profile shot with those high set eyes.
