I was in Austin from the memorial weekend and came across these two cottonmouths doing the courting ritual before mating. Ive never witnessed this in person and luckly had my camera with me and ready.
I thought that was when males were fighting for a female?? they knock each others heads down trying to prove to be more dominant/stronger speciman. Courting is usually down with squezzing and spuring right?? very cool video, why cant i ever run across anything like that in the wild
