we stopped getting up to date ufc around ufc 95 to 100,so i have only seen gsp and not his opponant.

i will say 1 thing if gsp fights silva then as an amazing a technical fighter that gsp is he will still get beat from silva

i like gsp he comes across as a very decent and hounourble human being and he can fight for fun but silva is NOT of this world...!!

gsp always finds weaknesses in a fighters style but silva has NO weaknesses in his fighting style and he's a VERY hard hitter

yea the spider is a beast lol. i've always said i want the spider to fight GSP but i think one of them would have to make a weight jump, i'm pretty sure the spider is lighter.
would be epic though.

i think he would pull it off as with all that extra wieght comes extra power can you imagine the spider with all that extra juice.....!!!

look at the power he packs into a single punch at the lighter wieght and his technical game is second to none...!!

I dont know I still think all GSP fights are garbage... I think his fights are boring... I will agree he is the best in his weight class but it is fights like his that entertain only serious technical fighters... that being said when I watch UFC fights I analyze the entire fight... personally everytime GSP threw a overhand right Shields should have gone for a takedown highest chance of a takedown possibillity.

I feel fights like GSP will end the rise of the UFC as a national sport...

Jon Jones' fights on the other hand are completely unorthodox and incorporate a lot of elbows whick mistakenly has become the the media center of the UFC... even though the Elbow is a small part of MMA...
Tha being said Jones is one of the most effective elbow strikes I have ever scene,\

Personally I think Jones Vs. Silva would be a much more visually interesting fight

i havn't watched UFC in a WHILE lol ^^

part of the reason the spider is so savage also is because he's beating on smaller people. who knows, if he gained some weight maybe he'd be slower and less good at grappling.

i didnt see the big fight he won against the kid who called him out recently, but my friend said the kid beat on him for abunch of rounds then the spider caught him slipping and submitted him on the ground.
