I waaaant iiiiiit :(

So one of my connections in animal control informed me they have a Young Adult Boa that was saved from an arrest site. Well cared for, but needing a home. I'll keep everyone posted, but this may be when I take the Boid plunge! I'll probably check it out Monday, make sure it's as healthy as they said, and start getting together the cage if it looks good

yeah, I'm assuming. The lady I know is a phobe, so she didn't have too much information other than the vet checked it out and said it's okay, and it's eating.

Sounds like a good deal, even better if the owner has the snakes papers! Good luck!

Re: I waaaant iiiiiit :(

Wooooow. So I went and looked today, found a young adult.......

BALL PYTHON. Poor thing had so much scarring all over, the pattern was barely visible in some places. Other than that, it seemed in decent shape, but I'm no vet. They have a mini-zoo sort of rehab place that they send exotics to though, so it's in no danger of euthanasia, and it should have a nice warm safe place to receive the care it needs.
