My snake corner and reptile room

I posted this in another thread but thought I'd put it here as well!

This is my snake corner. My borneo is on the top level in the small tub that's sitting in the cardboard box. On the lower level is my BCI on the left and BP on the right. The three small containers in the corner contain tarantulas. The rest of my T's (17 others) are in my dedicated exotic room that I've been breaking down/rearranging. I decided to bring my snakes into my bedroom so I can keep a closer eye on them. The red packets on the bottom shelf are 12hr instant heat packs in case I lose power. Yup, my ball python gets a HP box right now as a hide - I'm gonna buy her one of those nice black plastic ones next. Until then, she gets random cardboard boxes.

I use the herpstat II to regulate my heatpads. Channel 1 regulates the 2 smaller tubs (borneo + BCI babies). Channel 2 regulates the big tub (ball python).

Since I only have 1 sensor for the two smaller tubs, I have an digital thermometer to monitor temps in the tub without the herpstat sensor. The upper readout is for the probe. So far, temps are within 0.5F between the two tubs. If I need to check humidity, I can throw the whole unit inside one of the tubs since it has a hygrometer as well.

This is my borneo set up. It's very simplistic right now and I plan on keeping it that way until her belly button seals up. Newspaper, deli cup for water, and a black plastic hide. I think it's quite humid in there - you can see condensation building on the left side. I may drill more holes. I have 6 on the lid and there are some on the side as well.

This is generally how I keep my snakes (note that this is the BCI.. I've now switched the BCI into a larger tub and this tub houses my borneo)

This is the remains of my reptile room. I started selling off a loooooot of my animals because I'm moving in January and can't bring a bunch of them with me. On the far left is my ASF breeding group, in the small containers in the middle are my tarantulas, on the right is my crested gecko tank and my P. regalis (tarantula) tank.

Crested gecko set up. I chose to make it very naturalistic

Re: My snake corner and reptile room

I installed this custom background into a 12x12x12 exoterra but never ended up using it. It's a nice set up though : P

This is my ASF set up.. it's a little different now cuz they just dropped 45 babies last week. I took out the purple hide and the ceramic dish. I put in a translucent plastic box (upside down) with a hole so they can go in there to hide.

Here are some of the babies that are just a few days old
