My Diamond x Jungle turn pink.

The other day when feeding my wife noticed as soon as i pull the rat out of the bowl of hot water my Diamond x Jungle turn pink. All the white on her from her head about half way down was bright pink. As soon as i drop the rat in DJ nail it in the air. After he finish eating it turn back. I know my borneo head will get dark when scared or stress. I heard of it in borneo and blood just never carpets. Has anyone else ever noticed their snake change color when stressed, excited, or scared?

over here its refferd to as blushing mate.

my black and white diamond jungle and my diamond do it.when they eat all the white on her underside turns pink.imo its the blood pressure rising as it constricts its prey.yours must be getting all fired up hence raisng the blood pressure and blushing.

you should try and get some pic's of it,let the folk on here see what were talking about.

I am going to try next feed. That only the third time i seen him do it. First time my buddy Shawn was here and seen it. Second i was by myself. Doesn't do eat every time. Yea my wife ran down stairs and grabbed the camara just to find out the battiers needed charged. I am going to make sure i got the camara ready every time till i get some pics. It is so cool to see. might try video taping it. I wonder if that what it is with bloods and borneos? The blood rushing to their head makes the color darker.
