my new (empty) visionarium
i ordered one of them for the ball python i plan on buying in august. it is supposed to arrive today. i am trying to find out if they have a screen top or any screen on the top of them? if no one knows, then i guess i will find out today then, wont i?
will keeping 1 water dish over the uth & 1 on the cool side create the 60% humidity i will need for the snake? i dont want to have to mist the terrarium cuz i heard that leads to scale rot & mold build-up...
i dunno...i just hope this terrarium works out. the shipping fee alone was outragious...$39! major ouch.
that may or may not interfere with the order for the lock. i thought $125 would be enough for both the cage & the lock, but the order & shipping for the cage cost about $119. that only left $6.
the lock costs $11.99 not counting shipping...well, we shall see if i get the lock this month or not. maybe it will overdraw my acct. [ugh]

Re: my new (empty) visionarium
it IS kinda depressing being empty, but its a constant reminder of what i am about to do in these coming months. i am so hyped. 1) i get to have a pet (had to get father in laws permission first, since he owns the house we live in) & 2) its gonna be another snake. yay!
i take every opportunity i can to educate my daughter, since she is a little apprehensive about snakes.

Re: my new (empty) visionarium
thats a very nice looking tank you have there.we dont get that particular brand over here (ive never seen one).it looks like its been made really well.sorry i cant comment on humidity as i have no problems with it staying in the uk.time will drag on for you now i would imagine as everytime you pass the empty tank you'll think of your new snake.it wont be long now though and you've already put in most of the hard work.i hope it goes quick for you.
cheers shaun
