My wife and I are looking to bring a tortoise into our life. We have a large yard, and indoor area for one/two. We are not interested in a Sulcata. What is another good option for us.
If you don't get enough info here, try these websites:
www.vivariiumforum.com (find Kyryah--she's a tortoise expert & rescuer, she's on vivariumforum a lot & knows a lot of the species, their care needs, etc.)
Russian tortoises are very neat and stay fairly small - I am also a fan or yellow and red footed tortoises although my knowledge of them is limited. Just a couple species to reseach!
