I live in the upstate of South Carolina and have a problem with copperheads. I live in a wooded area on about 3 acres. I was told that if I had 6 - 10 King Snakes on my property, they would take care of the copperheads. Is this true? And if so, how can I buy 6 -10 king snakes without it costing a small fortune?
I know kingsnakes eat rattlesnakes in the wild and are immune to their venom. I could be wrong but I haven't heard them being immune to copperhead venom.
Maybe call your local wildlife centre and they can possibly find the copperheads and relocate them.
