Cool Mold

Hi ya all.. I`m black sheep and new to the site.. I have a Yemen Chameleon named Colin who is nearly 2.. Also i have a Savanna (Bosc) monitor lizard called Boss.. He`s only 8 months, but boy, does he have attitude.. i`m slowly taming his though, and have suffered several bites..
I have recently built a new vivarium 2.2m long x 1.2m deep x 1m high, this will house the monitor lizard.. Its quite CONSTRUCTION.. and incorporates a waterfall and pond.. But after one week i discovered mold growing on the inside of the plywood walls (think the spores came in from the eco-soil).. I am treating with a PVA glue solution on the walls, then acrylic paint, finally a perspex sheeting sealed into place using aquarium mastic.. I have now put in a new fan and drilled several ventilation holes to circulate the air.. Question is.... Does anyone else have any suggestions for keeping the mold at bay..

Well all you need to do is keep it well ventilated as you have already done buy putting more holes. If you can put a screen mesh on the top to help with ventilation so you can keep the humidity down because I think that is what is giving you mold problem. Good luck
Cheers
