Nice snake!
But sorry, i really don't understand why you disturb it like that with the hook, to do a video? The defensive posture of your snake told you "leave me alone", why don't you just rescpect it? Sorry, nice snake but i don't like the way you "hook" it to get a cool video.

Thanks, and I completely understand your concern. I was actually trying to get a feel for her myself, considering I just received her last week and was unsure of her striking capabilities. I apologize if it looks like I'm doing that just to get a "cool" video of her striking but I was just trying to get a feel for her. This is certainly not something I do on a regular basis.

I don't doubt that lol, but I'd love to see her make it to 8 feet nonetheless. That would be one impressive snake.

I was attempting to get her to strike by gently tapping her with the hook, but only to get a feel for how far she could actually strike given the opportunity and a good perch. Thanks for the compliment though.
