Re: A bunch of baby Jags
Cool pix, so what is a PNG? Is that some new fancy acronym for an IJ? Mark

Re: A bunch of baby Jags
Thanks guys,,, Mark something like that, they come from across the border and look rather different than IJs.. Here's a picture of mom laying, she's Black and white where my other NGs have a greenish ground color. Randy

Re: A bunch of baby Jags
So how did the Jags originate?
I was lead to believe it came from a pair of Coastal carpets. I was told by someone else recently that it was IJ's or a cross between an IJ and a Coastal.

Re: A bunch of baby Jags
They are a Coastal morph. Untitled Document is where they orginated. His site is not all up right now though as he has recently moved or something. I have a direct link to where the story was, but it doesn't work. In the begining folks tried to pass off some IJs etc as them thus the rumours of possible orgin. You can cross a Coastal to any other carpets & there are what folks call IJ Jags out there, but most in all actuality are 1/2 Coastal 1/2 IJ or there may be/are? some 3/4 IJ ones out there now too. Anyhow it adds to the confusion for some people who don't know of their true Coastal orgins. I myself have a 1/2 JCP 1/2 CCP male Jag or Jungle Jag I plan on making 3/4 JCP jags with hopefully. Mark
