I have a 7 month old IJC she eats very well, but we have had her a little over a month and she hasn't shed yet??
My other concern is she spent the last 4 days sitting in her water dish, she finally got out - with a little proding, and last nite she had a hopper. The top of her head is a little fuzzy looking ?? is she getting ready to shed? Is it ok to handle her during sheding? will she be grumpy?

Its likely that she is going to shed sometime soon, but it could also be mites, stress or heat. If shes taking fuzzys then she should shed about every two months. Check your temps, check for mites and just make sure you watch for the shed.

Handling during shed can be a very stressful thing for snakes, its best not to do it.
