sick python

hi is there anyone out there that can please give me some info. on my python i just got it 2 days ago from someone who didnt want it no longer. it is very sick it is dry, with big lumps on its back hardly no movement please help me new owner:medwhistl :meddead:

make sure there is water,dry or not. I would strongly recommend you take him to a vet, some snakes get growths on their backs that should be removed I have seen it before in others. If you do not know proper husbandry for your snake then look up ball python caresheets on the net for starters, theres thousands out there. Good luck.

Definitely take the snake to the vet ASAP. www.anapsid.org has a list on there for herp vets...You can always call breeders/pet shops locally for herp vet recommendations as well.
Did you see the condition of the habitat the snake was in before you got it? It could be possible the lumps are old injuries due to burns or rodent bites..The vet can tell you more..
