Sexing Carpet Pythons..

I'm just wondering what's the easiest and above all SAFEST way to sex my little JCP, he/she is about 4-5 months old and I heard that popping Carpet can screw up their tails and prevent them from climbing properly? Any suggestions??

Regards, Kyle Walkinshaw~

Yeah, get someone who's knowledgable to probe it...it's too old to pop anyway.

make sure the person who is doing it for u knows what he is doing - cause the younder they are teh more chances he has of something going wrong .. personally, Under a year old I don`t probe .. I take the safe route though..

Well I know many people who know how to probe, I won't try it myself yet on a carpet though. I want to buy a mate for him or her in the next couple of months which is why I need to know the sex.
Thx Dom
