Biteing?

Im just woundering if its normal for the male to bite the female on the back of the neck? I seen it for the first time and it looked like he was going to kill her. She didnt like it to much.

Yep, definitely normal. Quite often they will bite them wherever they can grab them! I've yet to see a female sustain any injuries from it. Perhaps a lost tail, but nothing on their neck. More often it's the male that loses his tail when she retaliates!

I know what you mean!! The first 2 we ever put together I panicked and removed the male... I thought he was gonna hurt my baby...

But then we checked with another breeder and were told the same thing you were here, normal mating behaviour.. worse thing that should ever happen is a dropped tail.. Keepo an eye on your male, he will be more interested in mating than eating...

And if one gets to frisky, they will get told.. Crested do have vocal cords when they have had enough...
