Sexing a bci?????????

Hello all...................

Is there an way to sex my boa without probing???Or any snake for that case; i have a bp and a corn snake also.I have pretty good guess of what they are but it is a guess!!

Babies can be popped. Probing is the most accurate method. You can also guess by tail shape, and with boids also by the size of the spurs. Adults cant be popped so you'll need to probe to be sure.

Spur size is very unreliable. I've had definite females with large spurs and males with small ones.
