new in the crestie world

hey everyone, i'm just starting to get into cresties and was just wondering if feeding wax worms every second day or so and using that powdered crestie food would be good as a staple food choice? i would also give them a couple silk worms once a week.....anyways, any input would be greatly appreciated!

thnx,
sheldon and tori

Waxworms aren't a good staple diet for anything. Just as with your leos, you wouldn't want to get the cresties hooked on junk food. Even slathering on the supplements or CGD won't make up for the excess fat content of the worms and their seemingly addictive properties.

I would suggest crickets and fruit mix. You can find good fruit mix recipes on ssnakess if you do a search. I personally stay away from cgd, I would rather them have a more natural diet.
