Instead of Glass

I was wondering if a cage with plexiglas sides would be a good idea for my kingsnakes encloser. Does plexiglas alow heat to excape, and would an under heater be affective. Thanks

i dont know about heat transfer but id say prob a little better but still not great.. plus it scratches really easily.....

The odds of a snake being able to scratch plexi is slim to none. A lizard would scratch it up pretty good, but plexi is fine for a snake enclosure.
