Unhappy Poop....?


hey everyone..i have a bit of a problem..
when i fed my corn on wednesday..and by sunday i was cool to hold him again..so i was holding him..and usually when i have him i let him roam on my bed and stuff..and well..every time i let him go on my bed..he literally GOES on my bed. he's did it on sunday, and again today. oh and this isnt the first time..he's pooped on me before..and on my mother's bed before. not sure why he poops in and out of the tank.. does anyone have a clue as to why? any info is appreciated

I had that problem with my snow female...she used to poop minutes after taking her out...in my opionion I thought it had alot todo with stress...as she aged, she grew out of it..havent had that issue in the past few years! Dunno how much helpful that will be to you..just thought id share.

before you take her right out.. hold her by her tank for a few min. then put her back down and leave her for a few min.. see if that works... you might just be rattling her stomach.. so she poos...

What do you do after it poops?
Do you put it back in its cage?
If so it might have learned that pooping will get it to safty (its cage/tank) therefore everytime it does that it gets what it wants.


This is the same thing as biting, if it bites you, you let it go and put it back or leave it alone, it will know that biting works and gets to the 'ultimate goal of freedom' so it does it again and again and again.

Most would get over it, but if it is doing it because it knows its getting what it wants, then it'll do it no matter what~

hey everyone!
sorry it took me so long to reply..my internet has been down.

anyway..simon u have a good point..but thats not it. cus when he does it i just clean it up..and keep holding him. i dont put him back right away.
i hope it goes away with time..lol..
