That looks like it could be one of Paul Harris's Jaguar/Jungle cross siblings. Nice snake no matter what.

Any more ideas on the ID of my new carpet? I was told it was a Jungle by the seller, but I'm not convinced!

Definately not an IJ/WP. My guess is a Coastal cross of some sort, or just a different looking pure Coastal.

ive spoke to the seller and he says apparently they are jungle carpets. he said that he saw the parents and argued that they wernt jungles but the breeder asured him that they were, and that they just didnt look like pure ones.
could this be possible?

Hello there, its always nice to see other posters from the UK.
I think the genetics of carpets is so muddled that it would be entirely possible that the parents were normal (looking) jungles, but with some coastal carpet in the ancestry.
I have seen some "jungle" carpets that i would have thought were actually coastals. Maybe its just a UK thing.
That being said yours does look more like a coastal than a jungle, either way its a nice animal though.
