When to feed?
Every week, I feed my ball two large mice.
At the start of the month, he refused to eat, and I found out he had mites.
After the first treatment, I tried feeding him again, but he refused.
I just did a second treatment, and it's about 3 weeks since he stopped eating. I am also noticing his belly is getting pink.
Should I try to feed him after his second NIX treatment, or should I just wait the extra week or 10 days until he is done shedding?
thanks.
Jeremy.

Try feeding a RAT after the shed. Mice suck.

Where in Alberta do you live??
There is a few people here selling frozen rats now, so it's not too much of a pain to get them.
Try Walter at Mice&Things from Red Deer. www.miceandthings.ca He's a really good guy to talk to, and a really good guy to deal with.
Also there is Lori Stuber In Medicine Hat. She is also really good to deal with. www.canadianmouseman.com

Shouldn't be a problem joe...
I fed mine mice for many years before switching to rats a couple of years ago.
Might take a bit of coercing but it's definitely worthwhile to at least try.

You'll be amazed at the weight your bp will put on if you switch to rats.
