My #1 snake
A picture I got of my favorite snake of all time. My favorite species, and this is my favorite specific one. Mojave my California Kingsnake!
Unfortuantly he is just about to shed and his skin looks dry. After the shed I'll get some better full body pics.

He is the best snake! A bit of a picky feeder at times, but has been totally calm like a baby since day 1 and always looks amazing.

I also got a proper measurement of my boy today!
He is almost four years old and exactly four feet! He is VERY slim still so I suspect in a couple years time I'll have a nice sized cal king on my hands.

Thanks guys. Close ups are terribly hard to get with the kings. All he wanted to do was keep moving around. I changed his water and I knew if I dipped his head in, he couldn't resist a sip of fresh water. Which worked for two seconds, which was long enough to take this shot.

Excellent shot and great cal king - love the contrast and the great expression on this guy. Cal kings have to be one of the most fun species to work with - tons of personality!!
