hi i have a corn snake and its about 1 foot 9inch and for about a week he doesnt want to eat. he just shed about 3 days ago and i try like 3 times since then. but he dosent even open his mouth. the prey is the right size. right now hes in his feeding cage with the prey. if you have any tips please tell me.
I would leave him in the cage he lives in for feeding.
Leave him alone for a solid week. No cleaning, no feeding nothing. Then simply offer a warm rodent on tongs. Dangle it near him, or simply leave it in his enclosure.
If you use a loose substrate like aspen then you can put the prey item on a napkin or small paper plate to avoid him eating substrate.
