i don't get it ~!

how do u know when this is time for ur T is going in to molt??
what are the signs that show molting ?
i have a pinktoe T.

It's hard to tell with Avics but a general precursor is lack of appetite.

also, with new world T's, if they have flicked hair off their abdomen the pink 'skin' you see will turn black a week or so before.

You cannot take this as something that happens all of the time, especially with a tarantula such as a.avicularia where it's abdomen is naturally black.
