craches egg hatched
I had an egg split early in icubation. it was a small crack (1mm-3mm) I would say. Some fluid leaked out of the crack. There was also another spot at the tip of the egg that leaked fluid, but had no visible injury.
I kept the egg just to see if it would survive, and ... it did! hatched friday. The hatchling looks normal, and literally jumped out of the egg when I approached the container I was using to incubate the eggs.
it will be interesting to see if this one develops into a healthy adult.
