Some pics from my work.

I took some pics from work the other day, and thought some of you might find it kind of interesting.
I work for precision drilling and here is some pics of the green machine

She stands a little over 150 feet tall, and is just huge. The rig floor where i work sometimes is about 30 feet wide.

Here is a couple pics of the rig.

And since i am a motor man on the rig i have to look after some pretty big engines. Here are a pair of 379 caterpillar engines i have to look after. I also have 6 other engines other than these i have to look after as well.

Thanks for looking.

Tim

You're in charge of running THAT machine?!?!? That's a scary thought! LOL

Just kidding buddy!

That must be a tough job. I'm sure you have to put in a lot of long hours. But the scenery is nice!

Cool pictures Tim.

I used to "look after" 6 Cat's, I commissioned 2 of them, and rewired 1. Where I used to work, we used them as the engines for the auxillary power units. Was out many times at 3:00 am trying to get one started - I despise those yellow bastads. Actually, most times the engines ran fine, it was all of the stuff we had hooked up to them that gave us grief.

HEHEH Tim, somewhat in charge but not totally.

Sometimes tough, sometimes pretty laid back, but i am a little burnt out, i have only had 10 days off out of the last 70 days, so the next week will be relaxing time..

And yes the scenery is awesome, some of the best i have seen at work yet.

Ryan, i actually really like these yellow "bastards" LOL. It's the detroit diesel engines i hate.

Nice pictures. What rig is that?

How do you like those rig shelter tarps? There is a good chance that I drafted the patterns to make them.
