URGENT- How to SHIP Geckos

can someone please tell me if this is correct- i am shipping two geckos within the US and i need to ship them overnight. i am using gladware containers with holes in them, and damp papertowels. do i also put holes in the side of the cardboard box? and do i mark it live animals or live reptiles, or live Geckos? any other advise? i am supposed to ship them tomorrow. thanks. First if the temps are cold there you will want to insulate a box using flat sheets of styrofoam cut to fit around the inside. Also it may be a good idea to drop a 40 hour heat pack into the very bottom, underneath the styrofoam. Into the bottom (especially if there is a heat pack) put a layer or two of crumpled newspaper.

Prepare the geckos by putting them into deli cups (hole punched) with some moist, not wet, paper towelling, enough to cushion them if they take a sharp bump, as they are likely to do.

Put them in their containers, on top of the first layer of newspaper, then pack tightly with crumpled newspaper.

ventilate the box and styrofoam with 1 or 2 holes per side, the animals will get plenty of air and the box will still retain some warmth, while not overheating.
