Lightbulb Odd Corsnake Behavior

I have two female cornsnakes...and I noticed the other day....other than their usual climbing on their jungle branches I got for them....I was woken up during the night be noises. So, I woke up and kept hearing something fall....proceeded to turn the light on. I saw one of my cornsnakes fall off a branch and fall into the water bowl. I kept watching and saw it crawl back out, crawl onto it's hide, and onto the branch. I continued watching and saw my other female crawl over the branches to the large water dish I have for them and dive right in too!! I started laughing because I have never seen a snake do this before. She was swimming around fully submerged, poked her head up, and then slithered out again. Then I saw the other female go over and do the same thing. I'm just curious...has anyone elses snakes done something this funny or odd?

Oh yeah...that is also why I am awake this early in the morning...they were doing it again!! Maybe they need to joing the circus.

Hahaha...full of humor I see ultimatecorns. So....have you EVER heard of this. I guess they love swimming or something. My ditzy green-blotched snow corn was actually the first one to do it. Then I guess the other one picked it up. haha, it is kinda funny to see them do it. Oh well, atleast I know my snakes are happy.

That sounds kind of endearing, hehe.

Yes, cornsnakes do love a good bathe every now and then. Some just like to swim. It depends on each individual snake's personality.

sounds great fun to watch, you should film it and sent it in to a tv show. one of my corns does something similar, but he doesnt go in his water bowl, i have some quite high branches in the viv i built for him an the others, but he just climbs, falls off, and climbs back up again! iv seen him do this a few times in a row, although i think hes just stupid.haha.
