Right now my jalisco is inbetween mouse sizes, fuzzies r too small I tryed a hopper tonight got a strike but no feed,my first question is should i go back to fuzzies (i've been feeding her 2 fuzzies at a time) or just try smaller hoppers? Is this normal behavier?
My second question is should I try feeding her right away or wait a week or just a few days?
Most milks I've had like their meals small. Just feed her the "right" sized mouse and forget about the names. Big fuzzies, small hoppers... whatever fits.
With Tim on this one - multiple smaller prey is fine for young milks - while some species like hondos can be real pigs and take anything big or small, many other individuals will continue to prefer multiple smaller prey items til they are over a year. As long as they are eating, stick with smaller prey sizes if she refuses larger.
